A number is attached to the front of the gunge tank, out of sight of Louisa. She must guess a number between 1 and 99. She is only told whether the number on the tank is higher or lower than the number she has guessed and this will carry on until she either guesses the number correctly, in which Bethanie will get gunged, or she uses up her nine attempts, in which Louisa will be gunged.
